At The FJ Company, we understand that we are building much more than a Land Cruiser. We are recreating memories and building dreams — and we take that very seriously. That’s why we’re committed to being at the forefront of innovation, why we obsess over every detail, why we painstakingly document every phase of your vehicle’s transformation — and why you won’t find a better team in the business. The FJ Company was founded by Nelson and Juan Diego Calle, two brothers who grew up riding in the back of their grandfather’s FJ40. When their grandfather passed in 2009, they partnered to return their grandfather’s FJ40 to its original glory. And they didn’t stop there. Soon, their hobby of restoring classic Land Cruisers transformed into The FJ Company. Here, the legacy of their grandfather lives on in every build we create. For us this is much more than a job, it is our passion.

We search the globe for donor vehicles, put them through our rigorous process, using high quality components and accessories. Then we test, and test again, until your build reaches its fullest potential. We don't do partial restorations or provide varying levels of restoration.
From start to finish, every project is custom-built in our production facility. Nothing is outsourced. Our full-time staff of engineers are masters of their trades – they restore, rebuild, customize, and assemble every single one of our Land Cruisers by hand, with pride.
All of our builds begin with the steel body and chassis of an authentic classic Toyota Land Cruiser with structural integrity and minimal rust. They are stripped down to a blank canvas, perfected and repainted, equipped with a modern Toyota engine and gearbox, and hand-built with all of the authentic parts and accessories you’d like.
Every project is individually tailored to your specifications. If you’re interested in a G40 build - our modern version of the FJ40, 43, or 45 - you can customize and price your own online. There’s no guesswork or hidden fees. If you’re interested in a 20, 55, 60, or 70 series Land Cruiser — or one of the rarer FJ45’s — contact us, we have those, too.
We continue our service commitment long after your hand-built Land Cruiser is delivered. Our service technicians are available to provide support when needed, and can be scheduled to travel to your location for any service needs that may be required.
